Matthew Townson

Matthew Townson
Development Manager

Matthew joined Inpartnership in April 2006 as a Development Manager. Matthew’s expertise helps with the implementation of schemes, preparing sites for development and progressing individual developments to completion. Currently he is working on the Solihull Schools programmes, Village Centres and other significant development opportunities.

Matthew joined Inpartnership from SEEDA, The South East England Development Agency, where he worked as a Development Surveyor. Matthews’s role was to identify and deliver land projects that promote regeneration and economic redevelopment. This role included the location and acquisition of development blighted sites, regionally influential sites and sites to support the redevelopment and regeneration of the disadvantaged areas of South East England. Matthew has successfully delivered development programmes in relation to residential, commercial, industrial and retail property types. He has been instrumental in identifying and securing development process from concept through to acquisition, all stages of the planning process, contract procurement and project management through to practical completion.

Previous to his work with SEEDA, Matthew worked for the Portsmouth Housing Association Ltd as a Development Programme Manager. For this role Matthew was charged with delivering an annual development programme in accordance with a five-year business plan.

During his career Matthew has also worked with the Metropolitan Housing Trust, Try Homes Ltd and Connell Residential.
