Involvement - Our engagement with communities

Inpartnership was formed to work side by side with local authorities and other public bodies who have obligations and commitment to improve the communities they represent but do not have the liquid resources to deliver infrastructure and development on the scale required.

By placing the needs of the resident community first, we set out to use low performing property assets that are in public sector ownership and utilise government funding, together with significant private investment, to enable a whole-scale regeneration programme to take place.

We act as the lead partner in each partnership team.  Each partnership by its very nature has different demands and requires a strong, focused but flexible management style and structure.

We set ourselves apart from the PLCs that have typically dominated large-scale development in this country.  Communities are fully engaged through proper consultation, their need expressed through proper master plans and delivered through strategic investment and development.

We hold the strong opinion that large-scale regeneration should not be monopolised by a single developer, and that our inclusive partnership approach is the only way to achieve holistic and sustainable solutions.

The North Solihull scheme, for example, includes no fewer than 10 new primary schools and features 5 new village centres, incorporating health facilities, retailing, community space, transport hubs and much more.
