The Project

A Limited Liability Partnership, Inliverpool, was established to assist Liverpool City Council with its ambitious regeneration strategy for the city.

It is concentrating in the first instance on two main areas within the city, Norris Green (formerly the Boot Estate) and Dovecot.  Between them they provide 90 acres of development opportunities.  This and other land will become part of the Partnership over the next 10 years.

Councillor Flo Clucas OBE, Executive Member, Economic Development and Europe, Liverpool City Council, said of the Liverpool project:

"Too often regeneration happens to communities.  The beauty of this Partnership, which is unique in its aims and business profile, is that it works with communities to create a quality environment, investment potential and opportunities for local people to benefit from the Partnership's activities.  We aim to rebuild and reinvigorate local neighbourhoods and capture the spirit of those who live there."
